What we do.
Survey is the core. Five services sit around it. One accountable counterparty. See every kind of survey we do.

Survey & Geoscience
The ground truth under every offshore decision: terrain, hazards and soils, measured to the accuracy your design needs.
You receive
- Terrain models and charts
- Hazard and burial assessments
- Borehole and CPT logs
- GIS and CAD-ready data

Data, Charting & Reporting
Whoever collected it, we turn raw acquisition into charts, registers and reports that make the next decision obvious.
- Data processors (DP): MBES bathymetry and backscatter, side-scan mosaics, ROV and positioning data QC and corrections
- Geophysicists: interpretation of sub-bottom, UHR seismic, magnetometer and side-scan data into hazards, buried assets and shallow geology
- Charting: hydrographic, pipeline route and as-built charts, with GIS and 3D visualisation
- Survey, inspection and project report writing
- Independent QC and re-processing of third-party datasets
You receive
- Gridded surfaces and charts
- Contact and anomaly registers
- Interpretation reports with stated confidence
- Survey, inspection and close-out reports with stated accuracy

Subsea & ROV Support
Installation, protection, inspection and integrity support for subsea assets, from SSIVs, jumpers and flying leads to mattresses, trenching, jackets and cathodic protection, with findings reported while the vessel is still on site.
- SSIV, manifold, PLET and PLEM installation and tie-in support
- Rigid and flexible jumper and spool installation, with metrology and as-built
- EFL and HFL installation, testing and tie-in support
- Jacket and platform installation support: positioning, pile and leg monitoring, as-built
- Protection and stabilisation: concrete mattresses, crossings and bridges, grout bags, rock placement and free-span rectification
- Trenching and burial: survey, tracking and depth-of-cover verification
- Tie-ins, flange make-up and pre-commissioning witnessing
- Cathodic protection (CP) surveys: anode and potential readings, retrofit support
- ROV inspection and intervention support: GVI, CVI, marine growth and debris clearance
- Pre-lay, as-laid and post-lay verification
- Subsea construction consultancy
You receive
- Method statements and installation support
- Inspection and CP reports with imagery
- Anomaly registers and as-built data
- HSE close-out report

Project Management & Representation
Your representative between the project owner and the contractors, vessel operators and teams delivering the work, so the owner stays in command.
- Planning, scheduling and cost tracking
- Owner's representation and contractor interface management
- Offshore client representation and QA/QC oversight
- Installation campaign coordination: vessels, ROV spreads and SSIV, jumper and jacket scopes
- Tender, bid evaluation and contractor selection support
- HSE and permit coordination
- Progress, risk and close-out reporting
You receive
- Project execution and schedule plans
- Weekly progress and risk reports
- Interface and issues registers
- Close-out dossier and lessons learned

Technical & Asset Advisory
Practical counsel on marine, subsea and survey decisions, from concept to life extension, with any interest we hold in the work disclosed up front.
- Subsea structures and asset integrity
- Cathodic protection and corrosion-integrity advice
- Installation method and procedure review: SSIV, jumpers, flying leads, jackets, mattresses and burial
- Free-span, burial and protection assessment advice
- Inspection planning and anomaly assessment
- Marine operations and construction methods
- Equipment, survey and ROV specification
- Engineering and procurement support
- Decommissioning and life-extension planning
You receive
- Advisory reports and options studies
- Technical specifications and scopes of work

Equipment Exchange
One counterparty between those who own survey, ROV and offshore equipment and those who need it: hire or purchase, with vessels and vetted specialists, verified and contracted for you.
- Survey, positioning and geophysical equipment
- ROV systems and subsea spreads
- Subsea tooling and installation aids
- Vessel sourcing and charter support
- Vetted specialists: survey engineers, party chiefs, ROV pilots, CP and inspection personnel, offshore engineers, placed and managed through Geoceanic
- Short or long-term hire, or purchase
- Owners: list equipment or vessels with us
- Every introduction, contract and invoice runs through Geoceanic
- Professionals: register your profile with us
You receive
- One agreement and one point of contact
- Equipment supplied with current certification and calibration records
- Documented personnel credentials
- Mobilisation managed end to end
Every stage of the asset, from first survey to decommissioning.
Choose a stage, then a scope, to see how we support it.
Subsea isolation valve
The valve that protects the line and the platform. It has to land, connect and operate first time.
- Plan & surveySeabed and route checks at the SSIV location, so the structure lands on stable, mapped ground.
- ExecutePositioning, ROV support through lowering, connection and function testing, with commissioning records.
- VerifyAs-installed survey, leak and valve-operation checks, and CP readings on the structure.
- AdviseMethod and procedure review, intervention planning and life-extension advice.
The right person for the job, not just a body.
Offshore results are decided by the people on the job. We have worked alongside teams and specialists around the world. We put the right people on your scope, through one contract and one point of contact, each one checked before they are put forward.
- Credentials, certificates and references checked
- Medical fitness and safety training confirmed
- One contract, one invoice, one point of contact: Geoceanic
Leads the survey spread offshore: planning, acquisition, QC and the daily client report.
Professionals register with us as individuals and are engaged through Geoceanic. Clients work with Geoceanic from request to delivery.
Sectors we survey for.
Ports, harbours & dredging
Hydrographic survey for the people who dredge, build and berth: known depths, known volumes, known ground.
Subsea cables & landings
Route, landfall and burial surveys for telecom and power cables, planned around the waters and permits each country sets.
Offshore wind & renewables
Seabed data and site-investigation support for sites, foundations and export cables.
