Who we are

Geoceanic Energies Limited (RC 8017400), No. 5, Emenike Street, Mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria ("we", "us") operates this website. We are the data controller for personal information collected through it.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us through the proposal request form or by email: your name, company, email address, telephone number (optional), and the project details you provide. If you register as a professional for offshore roles, we also keep the profile, certifications and availability you send, use them only to match you to roles, and share them with a client only with your permission. Our server may also record standard technical information (such as IP address and time of request) in routine logs for security.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
• To keep a record of business correspondence.
• To protect the website from abuse and spam.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Why we may use it

We process your information because you asked us to (you submit it voluntarily and tick the consent box), and because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to business enquiries and keep records of them. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Where it is stored and sent

Enquiries are emailed to us and held in our business mailboxes, which may be hosted outside Nigeria. Where information leaves Nigeria we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards, as the Nigeria Data Protection Act requires.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, the form is protected against abuse, and access to enquiry mailboxes is limited to our directors and authorised staff.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice before doing so.

Third parties

This site serves its own fonts and loads no third-party trackers. Enquiries are delivered to us by email through our hosting provider.

Retention

Enquiry information is kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain ordinary business records, and is then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights
